Spirituality of Giving Back

When we acknowledge that life is a gift of God, the desire arises to love it, to praise it, to serve it through our brothers. The "Father’s Prayer" enters into our heart, and we discover the brotherhood amongst all men, children of the same Father: giving back our assets, our skills, our time and all our resources to a humanity which suffers is the logical consequence of all this.
"Giving Back" becomes sharing time, professional skills, culture, material and spiritual resources with the poor, for their development and their dignity; helping man to discover his talents; to conceive life as a gift and an absolute value at all times and no matter how it is expressed; to enhance the value of all human potential, no matter how humble and, in the weak moments of life, like suffering, to find the value of the gift.
Giving back helps us to discover what we have that has not yet been shared with our brothers: it becomes a path of conversion.
