Providence helps to meet the challenge

The Lord manifests his power
when he finds a willing and sincere heart;
and then he does not fear our weakness,
our frailty
and encourages us: "Do not worry, I am with you".
Immensity is where he acts.
That is where his Providence takes full effect.
Every day we find
that Providence
answers our cry for help,
for the material means that we do not have,
for the people whom we need,
for assistance to the poor who turn to us.
This occurs naturally,
in silence, out of sight
like the result of any prayers
based on faith.
We almost don’t notice it,
if we don’t note, with discretion,
but specifically, everything
that is given to us:
money, hours of work, the materials
that are brought to us a kilo at a time...
We do it with care,
for the love of openness,
so that none of those who meet us,
observing a good deed,
can say: "Who knows who did it",
but everyone praises the Lord
who through thousands of friendly hands
has given us all things.
We watch over ourselves
so we won’t get used to well-being
and to prevent what is a gift of
the Lord from changing into power.
Providence has never abandoned
any of its projects.
It’s always the same story.
Anyone who submits completely to the will of God
is never disappointed. That’s how God works.

"Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear?'
For it is the Gentiles who strive for all these things; and indeed your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6,31-33).
