When loved, we love
When the encounter with Jesus
becomes a "one-to-one" encounter,
our eyes see with His eyes,
His heart becomes our own
and so is it also with His love.
When loved, we love.
We kneel before a lonely,
poor, suffering, oppressed man,
to love him with the paternal
and maternal heart of God
to accompany him, if he so desires,
toward this encounter.
The Lord is good
and we can be His reflection.
Goodness is the only key to encounter
and dialogue with the men of today.
It’s not the claiming of rights
that bring men together,
instead, it’s the goodness
that makes us become seekers of justice,
and persons with a common cause.
The good are never strangers
in any part of the world,
they are always part of everything and everyone.
Any of us can become good.
God is good, God is merciful
and we are, we become good, merciful because we are filled with
Him.
" We love because he first loved us " (1 John
4,19).
"Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from
God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. Whoever
does not love does not know God, for God is love. God’s
love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son
into the world so that we might live through him.
In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and
sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one
another" (1 John 4,7-11).
