My life is your life

The brotherhood is the place
where yes is always said,
and a real yes is made possible
thanks to the presence of the Lord.
The decision to be part of the brotherhood
with a special dedication to God,
can take different forms for each person
through the commitment of the evangelic counsels.
After a time of discernment
those who feel the calling
can choose to live in the community,
separated into two distinct areas,
men and women.
In the men’s sector some people,
after the planned theological studies,
ask to be ordained as priests,
to serve the brotherhood
and its specific gift.
Others, in special cases,
according to the consent of those responsible,
can live their dedications
in family.
Everyone, monks and nuns, continue
their work in the Arsenal or in the outside world.
Everyone seeks the humble holiness of love.

"Just then a lawyer stood up to test Jesus. "Teacher," he said, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?" He said to him, "What is written in the law? What do you read there?" He answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbour as yourself." And he said to him, "You have given the right answer; do this, and you will live."" (Luke 10, 25-28).

His disciples said to him, "If such is the case of a man with his wife, it is better not to marry." But he said to them, "Not everyone can accept this teaching, but only those to whom it is given. For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 19,10-12).
