The Word and Presence of God

As the rain and the snow
come down from the heaven
they do not return there
without having made fertile the earth,
in the same way that the Word
makes fertile our daily life.
It’s through the Word
that the Father renews with us the creation.
It’s through the Word that Jesus lives in us.
It’s through the Word that the Spirit talks to us.
The Word immerses us in a Presence,
the presence of God our Father, Son
and the Holy Spirit.
The presence of God is the truth that embraces us.
No matter what we do
throughout our entire life,
God is within us and works with us.

"For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there until they have watered the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and succeed in the thing for which I sent it" (Isaiah 55,10-11).

"A sower went out to sow his seed; and as he sowed, some fell on the path and was trampled on, and the birds of the air ate it up.
Some fell on the rock; and as it grew up, it withered for lack of moisture. Some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew with it and choked it. Some fell into good soil, and when it grew, it produced a hundredfold. As he said this, he called out: Let anyone with ears to hear listen!" (Luke 8,5-8).
