Acknowledging the dramatic situation of millions of children around the world convinced us that development activities must put the focus on children. Sermig has developed care & support projects for children in Italy, Brazil, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Bangladesh, Romania…

We have taken direction action in Brazil, developing care & support projects for children with Aids and homeless children as well as a project involving single mothers with children. We work closely with many of the local support organisations to ensure that actions are as effective as possible, promoting:

• Human and social revitalization of homeless children and young people
  
  
• Professional training for young people to create development
  
  
• Support for families in the education process
  

Homeless children are not the problem. They are the solution to our problem if we open our heart in order to understand the reasons that forced them into the street and eliminate them.
